Leeds Conservatoire has excellent rehearsal facilities right in the heart of the city centre.
The conservatoire is an All-Steinway School, meaning that 90% of our pianos come from the Steinway & Sons family – including two Model Ds.
Piano Rooms
Our practice rooms can be used by pianists, singers and instrumentalists for unamplified rehearsal.

- You are asked to respect our facilities at all times and not attempt to enter rooms or areas other than the one you have hired. We politely ask that you respect the right of privacy to our students and other users of the service. Please do not interrupt others when they are practicing
- Do not place anything on top of or inside our pianos. You are strictly forbidden to attempt to prepare a piano or perform with your fingers or other objects in contact with the strings of the instrument without express written permission from the Principal and Managing Director
- Food and drink is prohibited in the practice rooms, except for bottled water. Food and drink may be consumed in our on-site café bar
- All users of the service must be 18 or over and carry an appropriate ID at all times
- All visitors are required to sign in and carry a visitor pass with them at all times
- Any damage to conservatoire property must be paid for in full
- We reserve the right to bar individuals from using the service
- CCTV recording is in operation throughout the premises
- If you are asked to leave the premises for inappropriate behaviour or damage to equipment/facilities, no refund will be given
