Event Spaces

The Venue

Our state-of-the-art 350 seat auditorium provides a flexible and inviting space that can accommodate conferences, debates, formal presentations, auditions, TV screenings or meetings.

The space is fitted with theatre lighting and sound equipment, and high-power projection onto a large motorised screen.

The Venue also houses two Steinway & Sons Model D grand pianos.

Rooftop Bar

This 2,150 sq ft space includes breakout rooms and a dedicated catering area on the same floor as The Venue auditorium.

The Rooftop Bar is enclosed with a full perimeter glazed screen allowing delegates views across the city, whilst a glazed attic is shaded by black and gold vertical louvres.

Recital Room

Seating up to 120 people, the Recital Room is spacious yet intimate with retractable raked seating, a built-in audio system and high-power projection.

The space is popular with a wide range of clients for its excellent sight lines and superb acoustics.

The Recital Room also houses one of our Steinway & Sons Model B grand pianos.

The conservatoire does not have any on-site parking, however we do have an arrangement with the NCP car park at The Markets (LS2 7EA). Delegates can receive a full day’s parking for £7 when they use discount vouchers available from reception, subject to availability.


"We used Leeds College of Music as the venue for our inaugural Creative Cities Convention, a brand new platform for producers and broadcasters working in the digital media industry outside London. It was important for us to make a good impression in our first year and the venue was perfect. The team bent over backwards to accommodate our needs and the auditorium was terrifically atmospheric, lighting and set design requirements were executed excellently and all the facilities including the Rooftop Bar and meeting areas were right outside, which enabled ease of networking and suited us really well.
