Help with Audition Travel Costs

In many cases, if you prefer to submit your audition online rather than attend in person, this is an option. However, we don't want travel costs to be a barrier to attending in person auditions or offer holder events at Leeds Conservatoire, so help is available for many applicants where finances are an issue.

For auditions and offer holder events held in person at Leeds Conservatoire, if you are a UK resident you can apply for a refund of your travel costs if you belong to the following backgrounds:

  • Lower income households (income less than £25,000)
  • Underrepresented Ethnically Diverse or Minoritized Communities

If you would like to apply for a refund of your travel costs, please visit the Scholarships & Bursaries page.

Please note: Travel cost refunds are for UK residents only and do not apply for locally based workshops/masterclasses or pre-application auditions. Help with travel costs is available specifically to assist applicants who have travel costs relating to their audition or offer holder event in person at Leeds Conservatoire and does not include overnight accommodation or anyone accompanying the auditionee.
