Stage adaptation of the Swedish novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist. Set in a cold isolated town it tells the story of a lonely boy, Oskar and his friendship with Eli, a myserious newcomer with a chiling secret. This eerie yet tender tale blends horro with themes of love, loneliness and acceptance , exploring what it mean to connect with another, not matter the cost.
Lili Holland-Fricke is an experimental cellist, music-writer, and improviser based in Manchester. In this programme she intertwines movements from Johann Sebastian Bach’s solo cello suites with her own music.
