1. Apply for your chosen course(s) via UCAS
Timeframe: Sept – Jan (or ongoing)
Application website: Read full list here.
Application deadline: The UCAS equal consideration (‘on time’) deadline is 29 January 2025. We may still accept applications for some of our courses after this date (although this may change at short notice as places fill up.)
Please note: Acting, Actor Musician and Musical Theatre applicants wishing to start their course in September 2025 will need to apply via UCAS from September 2024. Leeds Conservatoire cannot accept 2025 applications prior to this, and is unable to offer deferred places.
UCAS Extra (Feb-July) / Clearing (July-Sep)
If you have used all 5 of your UCAS choices and do not hold any offers or you have rejected all of your offers, you can add an extra choice via UCAS Extra (from 28 Feb-4 July)
From 5 July you can make an application through Clearing. You can use Clearing if you’re not already holding any offers, if you have declined all of your offers or if you're applying for the first time after 30 June. More details on Clearing will be available in July.
2. Your audition/interview
Ongoing
UK applicants to certain courses at Leeds Conservatoire will need to audition, interview or submit a portfolio of work. Your audition may take place online or in-person, but we will provide full guidance for you and any associated deadlines in due course.
Guides: Read our audition and interview guides here.
Costs: No audition fees are charged for courses listed under UCAS Undergraduate.
3. Your offer
If you receive an offer it will either be conditional, based on you achieving certain entry requirements, or unconditional.
4. Accept your offer

If it’s unconditional the place is yours.
If it’s conditional then it’s yours when you meet our entry requirements.
5. Confirmation of your place

When you receive your A Level/BTEC results you will receive confirmation of your place if you have met our entry requirements.
Clearing

If you haven’t met our entry requirements, get in touch with us during Clearing. We may still accept you or be able to advise you on what to do next.
