Peter Darling (BA (Hons), MA) is a Composition/Songwriting Tutor on the BA Popular Music and Music Production pathways.
Peter earned both his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Leeds Conservatoire, graduating from the Pop Pathway in 2011 and earning his Master’s degree in Composition in 2015.
Peter composes to a commercial brief, with music credits including: Ariel, Queer Eye, Saturday Night Live, Lacoste, Timberland, Mercedes AMG Petronas, Sky Sports, Sky Movies, BT Sport, WWE, Coronation Street, This Morning, Hollyoaks, Lorraine, Sure Deodorant and the Wrigley’s Bin It! litter awareness campaign.
Peter writes and records his own original material, and co-writes with other songwriters/performers, having his music featured on national radio and the BBC Music Video Festival.
