UK Music, the collective voice of the UK music industry, emphasises the conservatoire's continued creative impact in the Yorkshire area.

Jazz graduate Samuel Moore is set to perform solo at New York’s Carnegie Hall following a major award win.

The event, at Leeds’ first direct arena, launched the 2023 Leeds Youth Music Festival led by Leeds Music Education Partnership.

Leeds Conservatoire is a partner of Leeds Jazz Festival, and this year students, staff and graduates were involved in a range of performances, projects and panel discussions.

This year's shortlist includes staff from both Leeds Conservatoire and Leeds Junior Conservatoire.

Joe Deverell-Smith, who recently completed his Actor Musician training at Leeds Conservatoire, will be playing Claudio in a touring production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing.
