The Music Department offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in jazz, Western classical music and popular music. Our postgraduate programme offers further study in jazz, Western classical and community music.
Studying at the UK’s largest specialist music college means that you will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of staff and students from outside your own particular discipline.
In addition to its core programmes, the College also has a strong reputation for the study of Indian and Latin American music, and all students on undergraduate music degree courses have the opportunity to study with internationally renowned artists working in these fields.
Music Production Courses
Embracing the technological advances within the music industry, the College was one of the first to establish a highly developed and extensive programme of music technology and production courses.
The BA (Hons) Music Production course allows students to develop advanced music technology skills for the creation and production of music and sound across a range of contemporary applications.
The College has a pioneering approach to training the musicians and music technologists of the future, and remains responsive to the changing needs of the profession and employers.
