Getting Here

Once you have accepted a place to study at Leeds Conservatoire, you will need to make your final arrangements for travelling to the UK. 

Leeds Conservatoire is situated opposite Leeds City Bus Station (if arriving by coach) and a short taxi ride from Leeds Train Station (if arriving by train).

Airports

Leeds Bradford International Airport 

This is the closest airport to Leeds Conservatoire. You can book flights to Leeds Bradford International Airport via other major UK and European airports.  From the airport you can then get a taxi to the conservatoire (approximately £16-£23) or take the Airport Link Bus 757 (cost approx. £3.30)

Manchester Airport

Manchester Airport is 55 miles/88km from Leeds. Direct trains and coaches run from Manchester Airport to Leeds. The fares are approximately £26 for the train, £12 for the coach and £80 for a taxi.

London Heathrow Airport

To travel to Leeds from London Heathrow you can:

  • Get an internal flight to Leeds/Bradford International Airport.
  • Get a train or Underground to London Kings Cross Station and from there get a train to Leeds
  • Get a coach from Heathrow to Leeds (you may need to change coaches at London Victoria)

London Gatwick Airport 

From Gatwick airport you can catch a direct train to St Pancras International Train Station. This station is opposite London Kings Cross Train Station, where you can catch a further train to Leeds. Fares range from £30 to £128 depending on whether or not you book in advance+.
